His ongoing research and tourism experience have influenced both policy and action among the European Travel Commission, Atout France (with MINDHAUS), UN World Tourism Organization, Israeli Ministry of Tourism and numerous travel-tech startups.
Dr. Ketter's work is based on active research - what he playfully calls his 'data-driven crystal ball'. He is the author of numerous tourism market research reports and policy papers, and since 2020 he is the Head of Research in a serious of market research reports for the European Travel Commission on measuring Europeans' travel sentiment (with Mindhaus).
Dr. Ketter is the co-author of the books: "Tourism Marketing for Developing Countries" (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016) and “Media Strategies for Marketing Places in Crisis” (Elsevier-BH, 2008).
